How To Set Time On Electrolux Oven

Hi,
A tech from a different repair service came out today. He said that there's aught wrong with the oven, that our thermometer is not authentic, that information technology is well known that to apply this oven all recipes accept to be adjusted to higher temperatures and longer cooking times, and that opening the oven door even for a short time drops the temperature in one-half, so we should not go along it open for more than a few seconds.
This seems just plain baroque. Owners are supposed to redo all recipes because they have an oven that doesn't oestrus the mode whatever oven is supposed to??
Please guide me out of this Twilight Zone.
Yes, that's far beyond the Twilight Zone!!! That makes no logical sense at all of what he said.
Does this trouble your now having do it with both upper and lower ovens?
Which oven is doing this?
The proper mode we techs here practice it is:
To measure the correct temperature with a meter and thermocouple, tape the temperature the range cycles off then record the temperature it turns back on. Do this for five complete cycles then add together and dissever. Example: prepare @ 300 Temp Off: 325 Temp on: 275 325 + 275 =600 Split ii = 300 average bake temp.
Measure out the oven sensor with an ohmmeter. The meter should signal between 1050-1100 ohms @ room temperature.

We techs use this multimeter that comes with the temperature testing setting probe: Multimeter | ApplianceBlog
Its the most accurate mode to test oven temperature.
How do I access the sensor, and how likely is it that the sensors for both the upper and lower ovens would be defective?
I'1000 badly hoping you won't say, "Yeah, you're right, it's more than likely that the breaker is defective and you lot'll have to pull the oven, accept off the back and meet if either or both sides are open."
No, only turn the billow off to your double oven, and so pull it out from the wall and remove the dorsum panel and yous can get admission to both oven sensors.
OR y'all may be able to just remove the oven sensors from inside the oven, should exist 2 screws that agree them in identify, then merely slowly pull them out from inside each oven and remove the connector that get to them, and so you tin can test each with the aforementioned multimeter on the ohm setting. But make sure either way you do it to offset turn your breaker off to your double oven first!

Thats what I was thinking, it would be extremely rare that both are bad like that. I don't think it would be the reset billow on your unit of measurement, if that was bad you wouldn't get any heat at all.
When did this start happening with the temperature issue? Right after the tech replaced the control lath?

temperature with an oven thermometer (i recommended by Consumer Reports for accuracy)
Is this analog type that has the dial? Because if so, information technology will exist deadening to reach the temperature compared to the digital one we use on our multimeters.

Ok, well so y'all don't remember which board he replaced? The receipt he left should accept the part number of the lath on it.
This is your main clock oven control board: Frigidaire 316576627 Controller - AppliancePartsPros.com
It controls both upper and lower oven temperatures per both oven sensors. And so that Controller board is likely the problem since its off temperature on both upper and lower ovens.

Yes, since your saying both upper and lower ovens have this same temperature issue, so its not likely the oven sensors, I've never seen both oven sensors get bad at once, the odds of that happening is very slim.
So, aye I believe you have a faulty clock oven control board.
But first try Adjusting the Oven temperature per the instructions on page 21 here: http://manuals.electroluxusa.com/prodinfo_pdf/Lassomption/318205135en.pdf
I know it says it can be adjusted 35 degrees, but endeavour it and see, it would save a lot of frustration dealing with the extended warranty company.
Let us know the results.

Yes, the oven sensors are located in the upper left side of each oven to a higher place the top broil elements in each oven.
Remember to plough the breaker off to your double oven at your main billow box in your house, before accessing/testing those parts!
